Cancellation Policy

At Mimo Bar, we value both our clients' time and our nail technicians' schedules. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way of your appointments. However, to ensure that we can continue to provide quality services to all our clients, we have established the following policy:

-If you have a budget for your appointment, we recommend reaching out for pricing information before finalizing your appointment.

 

-Please give us at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Rescheduling or cancellation before 24 hours of your appointment will be free.

 

-For appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours and no-shows, the scheduled service total will be charged to the card on file.

 

Lateness Policy

We appreciate your commitment to our salon services. In order to maintain the efficiency and quality of our appointments, we kindly request punctuality.

 

-Please note that if you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled time, your appointment will be canceled and you will be charged the full amount of scheduled services.

 

-If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment and still wish to proceed, we may need to modify your service to less lashes style. The charge for the service will remain as originally booked.

 

This policy ensures that we can accommodate all our clients while providing the best possible service. We value your understanding and cooperation.

 

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your experience here, feel free to call or text us at 718-306-9292. We are here to make things right.

 

We'll make every effort to arrange the technician you have selected for your appointment, but we can't guarantee it 100%. Occasionally, unexpected events can disrupt the schedule and your technician is subject to change.

Waiver of Liability

I understand there are risks associated with having synthetic eyelash extensions applied to and/or removed from my existing natural eyelashes, and that notwithstanding the utmost of care in the application or removal of these products, there still exists risk associated with the procedure and product itself, which include, without limitation, eye irritation, eye pain, discomfort, and in rare cases blindness when improperly handled. As part of this procedure, I understand that a certain amount of eyelash adhesive material will be used to attach the artificial eyelash extension to my existing eyelashes. Even though the Professional may apply or remove my eyelash extension properly, I understand adhesive material may become dislodged during or after the procedure, which may irritate my eyes or require further follow-up care, at my own expense to prevent damage to my eyes. I also understand there is more than one technique for applying eyelash extension to my eyelashes, and I will not attribute any liability to Professional as a result of this procedure or the use and care of these lashes. I also agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Professional and Mimo Bar from any and all claims, actions, expenses, damages and liabilities, including reasonable attorney’s fees which might be asserted against them as a result of my having this procedure performed, or my purchase of Mimo Bar retail products. As used in this Agreement, the terms “Professional” and “Mimo Bar” include all their respective owners and employees.

 

Permission to Use Pictures

I hereby grant to Professional and Mimo Bar the full right to take, publish, and reproduce photographs of me, my face, my eyes and/or eyelashes, both before and after this procedure, for any advertising, education, or other purposes whatsoever, including the right to retouch these photographs as deemed necessary by Professional or Mimo Bar. I further expressly assign any copyright in these photographs for any advertising or other purposes, along with comments I may provide.

  

Care & Maintenance

I agree to follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by Mimo Bar and/or Professional for the use and care of my eyelash extensions, and that if any follow up care is required due to my own mistake or negligence, or failure to follow these instructions, this will be at my own expense and risk. I understand that if I do any of the following, it may result in damage to my eyelash extensions or cause my lashes to fall off prematurely. Knowing this I agree to follow these tips for best results: I will avoid oil based eye products as these will loosen the bond of my eyelash extensions. I understand that it is best to avoid saunas or steam rooms. If I experience any itching or irritation, I agree to contact my Mimo Bar Professional immediately to have the lash extensions removed. I agree to refrain from using waterproof mascara or an eyelash curler. I agree to not pick, pull or rub my eyelash extensions. I understand that I should not attempt to remove my eyelash extensions on my own or with any product, but that the procedure requires that my eyelash extensions be professionally removed.
